By accessing or using TypingProo at typingproo.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TypingProo is a free online typing speed testing platform. It provides WPM (words per minute) tests, typing games, a daily typing challenge, and story-based typing content. The Service is provided at no cost and is supported by display advertising.

3. Permitted Use

You may use TypingProo for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to scrape, copy, or redistribute the site's content or source code without permission
  • Use automated tools to submit results or manipulate scores
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
  • Attempt to exploit, hack, or reverse-engineer the Service
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

4. Content Ownership

The TypingProo brand, design, code, and original content are owned by TypingProo. Book excerpts used in Story Mode are sourced from Project Gutenberg and are in the public domain.

TypingProo does not claim ownership of your typing results or personal best scores — this data belongs to you and is stored locally in your browser.

5. Advertising

TypingProo may display third-party advertisements (including Google AdSense) to support its free operation. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Ad content does not constitute our endorsement of any product or service.

6. No Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TypingProo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
